WHO WE ARE

Registered and accountable

Civic Healthcare Limited provides home care and support for adults across Leeds and West Yorkshire. We take time to understand each person’s routines, preferences, risks and goals, then agree a plan that is clear to the person, their family and the team providing support.

Standards are maintained through care planning, safer recruitment, training, supervision, accurate records, regular reviews and action when something is not right.

WHY CIVIC EXISTS

Care built around your life

Adults should not have to give up control of their routines, relationships or home simply because they need support. Our role is to understand what matters, agree practical help and deliver it with respect.

Where a request is outside our service or competence, we should say so clearly and help the person understand the next appropriate route.

Respect

Knock, ask, listen and protect privacy. The person’s home remains their home.

Safety

Follow the care plan, notice changes, record accurately and escalate concerns.

Reliability

Keep agreed commitments and communicate early when arrangements must change.

Listening

Make communication accessible and include the person in decisions about their care.

Accountability

Own mistakes, respond to concerns and use feedback to improve practice.

HOW RESPONSIBILITY WORKS

Clear roles behind each care plan

Care planning, staff coordination, recruitment, training, supervision, quality monitoring and safeguarding each require a named internal owner. People receiving support and their families should know whom to contact, how changes are agreed and how to raise a concern.
